Those who attended the PTA meeting on Back To School Night heard about a new program that is concentrating on a larger presence of dads at Carver. But, not just dads....grandfathers, uncles, cousins, virtually any male. The idea is for our kids to see men volunteering. Ideally if someone can spend a day a month tutoring or reading or doing clerical work for a teacher would be the best. However, even if it's just coming to recess or having lunch with the kids.....whatever someone can do.
